This notice explains how we handle information when you visit our website or contact us about coating materials, applications, samples, equipment, training and technical support.
INFORMATION YOU PROVIDE
Our Contact Form asks for your name, company, email address, country and enquiry. These fields are required to submit the form so that we can understand and respond to your request. Your phone number and attachments are optional. You can also contact us by email or phone.
We keep the information you submit, any attached files, subsequent correspondence and relevant enquiry history. Please include only information needed for your enquiry and avoid unnecessary personal information in attachments.
WHY WE USE YOUR INFORMATION
We use enquiry information to understand your requirements, respond to questions, prepare quotations, arrange requested samples and discuss products, equipment, training or technical support. If you become a customer, relevant information may also support the resulting contract and customer relationship.
The legal basis depends on the purpose:
Personal contracts: Steps you request towards a contract with you personally, or performing that contract, are based on contractual necessity — GDPR Article 6(1)(b).
Business enquiries: Answering business enquiries, communicating with company representatives and maintaining relevant correspondence are based on our legitimate interest in responding to potential customers and managing business relationships — Article 6(1)(f).
Website and form security: Operating and protecting the website and form against abuse are based on our legitimate interest in maintaining a reliable, secure enquiry service — Article 6(1)(f), where the processing is necessary for that purpose.
Legal duties: Meeting applicable recordkeeping or other legal duties is based on compliance with a legal obligation — Article 6(1)(c).
Submitting an enquiry is not treated as consent to unrelated processing. Where we rely on legitimate interests, your interests and data-protection rights must also be taken into account.
WIX, EMAIL AND ATTACHMENTS
The website is hosted on Wix. Enquiries submitted through Wix Forms are stored in Wix, with relevant contact information and submission history in Wix Contacts/CRM. Wix processes this information on our behalf to provide these services.
Wix sends internal email notifications about new enquiries. Notifications may reproduce submitted information, and we handle them and subsequent correspondence through the company's email systems. Copies of enquiry information may therefore also exist in those systems. We may download attachments to our work computer to assess the enquiry and provide relevant follow-up. We currently have no separate CRM integration outside Wix.
Recipients involved in this handling include the people at ZRZ SIA responsible for your enquiry, Wix and its service suppliers, and providers supporting our email delivery and storage. Google provides the reCAPTCHA service used within Wix Forms. We may also disclose information to a competent authority where the law requires it.
FORM SECURITY AND SPAM PREVENTION
Wix Forms includes spam filtering and Google's invisible reCAPTCHA. These tools evaluate technical signals and visitor interaction to help distinguish genuine enquiries from automated abuse; a challenge may appear. Wix's spam filtering can also use network identifiers and contact information. This security processing is separate from website traffic analytics.

COOKIES AND WEBSITE ANALYTICS
Cookies and similar technologies can store information on your device or access information already there. Wix provides technologies that support website operation, security and enquiry handling.
The site's default consent configuration disables optional website Traffic Analytics and advertising tracking. We have not intentionally added advertising pixels or external marketing analytics to this website.
Wix and providers supporting the website may still process information for site operation, security, enquiries and related operational services. This includes the information submitted through our Contact Form and the Wix records created when we handle an enquiry, as described in this policy.
INTERNATIONAL PROCESSING
Wix and its suppliers can process information outside the European Economic Area. Wix's data-processing agreement describes transfers to Wix.com Ltd in Israel under the European Commission's adequacy decision, and safeguards for onward transfers, including standard contractual clauses where applicable.

HOW LONG WE KEEP INFORMATION
For an enquiry that does not lead to a customer relationship, we normally retain enquiry information, related correspondence and attachments for up to two years after the last relevant communication. This retention policy covers the enquiry records in Wix, the company's email systems and downloaded business copies.
If an enquiry becomes a customer relationship, relevant information may form part of customer, contractual, accounting, warranty or technical-support records. We retain it for the period needed for the particular purpose and applicable legal requirements. This can extend beyond two years; it depends on the contract, the support or warranty involved and any legal recordkeeping duties. Information needed for the establishment, exercise or defence of a legal claim may be kept while that need remains.
Existing analytics and security records are subject to the applicable Wix services' retention settings and practices. Their retention also depends on their purpose: using traffic reports to assess and improve the website, or detecting and investigating abuse and protecting the service. Relevant criteria include the period covered by the reports, whether an incident or dispute is still being investigated, and any legal requirement to retain a record. The two-year enquiry rule does not automatically apply to these technical records.
MARKETING
Submitting the Contact Form does not automatically subscribe you to marketing. We do not currently use Contact Form enquiries for automatic newsletters or bulk promotional email. Replies and follow-up concerning your enquiry, quotation, samples, technical questions, equipment, training or customer relationship are part of handling that relationship.
YOUR RIGHTS
Depending on the circumstances, you can ask us to:
• provide access to your personal information and a copy;
• correct inaccurate or incomplete information;
• delete information or restrict its use;
• provide eligible information in a portable format, where processing is automated and based on consent or a contract.
You may object, for reasons relating to your situation, to processing based on legitimate interests. Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time. Some information may need to be retained to meet legal duties or handle legal claims.
Contact info@line-x.lv to exercise your rights. We may request information needed to verify your identity. We normally respond within one month and will explain if a lawful extension is necessary.

BUSINESS USERS AND AUTOMATED DECISIONS
This website is intended for business and professional users and is not directed at children.
Our website enquiry process does not use automated decision-making, including profiling, that produces legal or similarly significant effects on individuals.
